Dayak Dance Shield

Carved from a single section of wood with raised ridge in center and lug handle on back. Lashed rattan re-enforcement to each end. White paint decorated with spirit figure. Northern Borneo, Indonesia. 27” length (68 cm). NOTE: paint and rattan losses.
